For the new owner of a 1951 Harwell Hamilton Harris California-modern house, finished in vertical cedar board-and-battens, this thoroughgoing refurbishment included a solution to the moisture problem which had damaged the hardwood floor; design of special built-in cabinetry throughout for such areas as a new screening room; refitting of the master bedroom and wardrobe room; redesign of the powder room; complete interior design including devising of an updated color scheme, selection of all furnishings and carpets; and coordination of the redesign of the pools, terraces, and garden landscape. The project was a careful, comprehensive rehabilitation of a fine house with painstaking attention to detailing as related to the owner's living style.
